MEDTECH, a French company that builds surgical robots, received FDA clearance to introduce its ROSA Spine system for performing minimally invasive procedures on the spine.
The device has already seen substantial use in Europe, having received CE Mark approval back in 2014. The company’s ROSA neurosurgical system has been used in the U.S. since 2012 for performing brain operations.
