FDA Convalescent Plasma Treatment Paves Way For Permanent Reopening

If you know someone who has recovered from coronavirus, they probably hold the at least one of the keys to a successful reopening of the economy and the risk of infection.

Bridge Towards A Vaccine

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the use of convalescent plasma, which uses the liquid part of blood collected from patients who have recovered to inject antibodies into someone who is battling the disease. Although the approach is not new, and it has been used in the 1918 pandemic and with Ebola, new evidence has emerged about its effectiveness with the coronavirus.
