As lawmakers were winding things down in anticipation of their party conventions and the summer recess, Medicare chief Andy Slavitt hinted at a possible delay in implementing the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA).
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) might be open to delaying the implementation of parts of the SGR repeal law dealing with physician payment, CMS acting administrator Andy Slavitt told the Senate Finance Committee Wednesday.
