A mobile app that assessed cellphone activity and usage correlated well with clinically assessed depression scores, researchers reported here.
In a pilot study of the SOLVD app, there was significant correlation between PHQ-9 scores and user behavior, particularly for the more severe cases of depression, according to Nidal Moukaddam, MD, PhD, of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and colleagues.
