Pediatric hospitals take steps to improve patient sleep

Some pediatric hospitals have changed their night-time routines to keep patients on a healthier sleep schedule, according to Kaiser Health News. For example, many now apply strategies used for adults in other facilities and enforce quiet hours after nightfall and use white noise machines. They also schedule activities, such as bathing patients, during the day whenever possible.
