Intuity Medical has launched the POGO Automatic Blood Glucose Monitoring System for diabetes patients in the US.
The system is claimed to be the first and only blood glucose monitor to offer automatic testing that has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
It lances, collects and analyses blood in one step using its ten-test cartridge technology. This eliminates the need to carry separate test strips and lancets.
