Apple has filed a patent application for a wearable device that could record electrocardiographic (ECG) signals.
An ECG device would be a logical progression from the Apple Watch, which the company launched in April 2015.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said in May that Apple considers healthcare to an enormous opportunity for the company.
