The GetMyHealthData Campaign is commending the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for offering new guidance on patients’ rights to access their health records under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule.
Launched in July 2015, GetMyHealthData Campaign is a collaborative effort of leading consumer organizations, health care experts, former policymakers and technology organizations working to enhance consumer access to digital health information.
