A CLIA certified laboratory in the US, World Wide Clinical Labz, and Baebies have collaborated to provide ultra-rapid real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing for Covid-19. As against traditional RT-PCR test results that are reported after a minimum of 24 hours, FINDER 1.5 testing platform of Baebies is claimed to deliver results with an on-cartridge analysis time of under 17 minutes. It also can potentially identify the Delta and Omicron variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
